Elite Peekers IGNITION CS2 Grand Final: Preview

After 10 days of action in Phenomenon Advanced's Elite Peekers series' inaugural Counter-Strike 2 tournament - IGNITION CS2, we have reached the Grand Final of the online event with $5000 prize pool on the line. Amongst the 12 invited teams, two remain and it will be Myth Avenue Gaming going up against DEWA United in the final.

Myth Avenue Gaming vs DEWA United 11:30 IST

Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) and DEWA United were both placed in Group B of Elite Peekers IGNITION CS2 and MAG were the only team across both the groups who made it to the playoffs without losing a single game. DEWA United suffered a solitary loss, which was a 4-13 hammering at the hands of MAG on Ancient.

The Playoffs stage saw MAG pushed to overtime by SR Nacague in the quarter-finals but they hung on for a 2-0 and in the semis against NKT it was clinical as they romped to the final.

DEWA United on the other hand has had a relatively easier path to the Grand Final. They smashed Grayfox Esports in the quarter-final and then due to technical issues, DreamScape forfeited their semi-final game which saw DEWA walk into the final without facing much of a battle.

MAG certainly hold the advantage over DEWA given their form and superior fire-power but as we all know, on the day it is anyone's game.
