Gods Reign claims the scalp of ATOX
The first round of BO1 kicked off on Overpass, where ATOX converted the 3v3 to claim to T-pistol round. However, f1redup’s 2k in the 2v2 helped Gods Reign secure their rebound in the force buy. While Gods Reign initially found a 5-2 lead, ATOX found resurgence to tie the half at 6-6.
A 3k from CycloneF in the second pistol, as Gods Reign assumed control of the flow of momentum early into the second half. Riding high on the momentum, Gods Reign’s lead quickly rose up to 11-7. ATOX had to fight hard to stay afloat. On the other hand, Gods Reign held the reins, as they reached match point at 12-9 and closed out the game 13-11 with Ph1NNN closing things out with an incredible 1v4.
This marks the first time an Indian team has emerged victorious in an ECL Game. Gods Reign and ATOX will be back again for second round of BO1 shortly.
