This was Lynn Vision's first time on CS2's Vertigo at a high profile event and it clearly showed as they conceded crucial T-side full-buy rounds against CT-pistols. Grayhound reached match point at 12-6 with dexter getting an ace along the way.
Starry brought down the final round to a 1v2 but aliStair nonchalantly sat down in the smoke and defused the C4, as Starry sprayed wildly. Grayhound went 1-0 up after closing out Vertigo 13-6.
Lynn Vision started on the T-side of Anubis with a 3-0 but Grayhound levelled the score kept trading rounds back and forth thereafter. A crucial 2v2 towards the end of the first half saw Lynn Vision's Jee clutch it up, giving them an 8-4 advantage.
After conceding their T-side pistol and anti-eco, Grayhound strung up three rounds in a row but soon fell apart as Lynn Vision came all guns blazing with solid setups and a quick flank always on Grayhound's tail. Lynn Vision closed out Anubis 13-7, pushing it into the decider with the final Major spot on the line from the Asia RMR.
It was game, set and match for Lynn Vision on Nuke as z4kr and Starry made minced meat of Grayhound's T-side. Grayhound were nowhere to be seen on Nuke, only able to secure a couple of rounds as Lynn Vision closed out Nuke 13-2 and the series 2-1.
Lynn Vision came into this series after a crushing defeat against TheMongolz earlier today and even conceded the opening map against Grayhound but Lynn Vision mentally reset themselves and flipped the narrative, making it to the first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major.
This concludes the Asia-Pacific RMR for the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major with TheMongolz and Lynn Vision booking their slots from the Asian region.
