B8 eliminate Sprout
The first map took us to Overpass where B8's npl stepped up with massive impact on their CT-side to landslide a 11-1 half in their favor. Sprout clawed back a couple of rounds to start off the second half but B8 managed keep them in check and close out Overpass 13-3.
npl topped the charts on Overpass with 22 frags at an ADR of 135 and a HLTV rating of 2.08, followed by r1nkle and essenthial at 16 frags a piece.
B8 started off strong on Anubis with a 4-0 lead but Sprout's T-side adapted to counter the CT-side and recover a 7-5 half in their favor. B8 sprinted to a 11-8 lead in the second half but Sprout's reiko-raalz duo came in clutch, overtaking B8 to secure match point at 12-11.
Sprout had it locked-in in the last round but a huge 3K from cptkurtka023 pushed the game into overtime. Sprout outfoxed B8 with superior positioning in overtime, isolating fights and denying map control, but B8 managed to push it into a second overtime off of cej0t's smoke spams in the deciding round.
A surgical 3-0 CT-side from B8 in the second overtime saw B8 close out Anubis 19-15 and the series 2-0 to advance to the Skyesports Masters 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier, eliminating Sprout in the first round.
