VP. Prodigy replaces Pera Esports for Skyesports Masters 2024 Qualifier
The Skyesports Masters 2024 EU Closed Qualifier kicks off today but there has been an interesting development regarding the teams taking part in the event.
The initial announcement made by Skyesports on March 7, 2024, for the announcement of the 12 teams for the EU Closed Qualifier had Pera Esports as one of the teams but with the recent schedule revelation - Pera Esports seems to have been replaced by VP. Prodigy in the Skyesports Masters 2024 EU Closed Qualifiers.

The EU Closed Qualifiers get underway for in a single-elimination format with VP. Prodigy kicking things off against TSM in their opening game which takes place on March 20, 2024. Out of the 12 teams participating in the qualifier, one team will book their spot in the main LAN event.
There has been no official update from Skyesports' side regarding the same. Dust2 India reached out to Skyesports for a quote on the matter and while Skyesports confirmed that Pera Esports had been replaced, the official reason behind the decision wasn't shared at the time being.
The Skyesports Masters 2024 is set to take place between April 8 - April 14, 2024 in India and with a prize pool of $350,000 it will have teams such as Liquid, ENCE, BIG and Ninjas in Pyjamas amongst others taking part.
