True Rippers sweeps aside Grayfox in straight maps
The lower bracket final of the Skyesports Masters 2024 Indian Open Qualifiers pitted Grayfox against True Rippers. Starting on the first map Anubis, the first half saw an equal score of 6-6. However, despite converting their T-pistol and anti-eco rounds in the second half, Grayfox failed to make a dent in the buy rounds.
As a result, True Rippers capitalized by chaining together 6 rounds, claiming the first map 13-9. Next up was True Rippers' pick of Vertigo, where True Rippers stretched their wings, securing 7 rounds on their T-side.
However, resilient, Grayfox clawed their way back in the map, as they tied the scores at 12-12 to proceed to Overtime. Despite Grayfox's best efforts, True Rippers ultimately sealed the map and series with a 16-12 win.
