FaZe outclass Vitality to secure Grand Final spot
The first semi-final of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 saw two of CS2's best teams go up against each other as FaZe faced defending champions Vitality.
Nuke saw a hot start from karrigan and co. as their T side saw them go 9-3 up with FaZe big game star rain once again stepping up on the biggest of stages. Vitality secured the second half pistol and it seemed we were in for a competitive map but a karrigan masterclass with his calling saw FaZe start with a 13-7 win on their pick.
Unlike Nuke, Vertigo started in a completely contrasting manner as Vitality made FaZe pay for letting Vertigo through with the defending champions starting 11-1 before closing it out quite quickly at 13-5.
Inferno was the decider with Vitality starting with the pistol but FaZe answered with a strong T side, going 7-5 up before closing things out at 13-8.
FaZe have now booked yet another Major Grand Final spot and await the winner of the NAVI - G2 game.
