TheMongolz stunned by LYG
A pistol round retake on Ancient set the tone for TheMongolz who got off to a 6-0 start. LYG interrupted the streak with a couple of T-side round wins but could not get anything else done, as TheMongolz locked in a 10-2 CT-half with Techno dropping a colossal 2.56 rating CT-side at an ADR of over 150.
TheMongolz wasted no time in the second half, closing out Ancient 13-2, going 1-0 up in the series. It was a map to forget for LYG with not a single individual reaching double figures.
On Mirage, LYG secured the CT-side pistol round and traded their way to a 6-6 half. ZinGY and Haski4 fragged out early in the second half, pushing TheMongolz down to a 7-10 disadvantage. TheMongolz did manage to close the gap however, LYG kept a level head and closed out Mirage 13-10, pushing the series into the decider.
LYG's soundwave hit red hot form on the CT-side of Anubis, restricting TheMongolz's T-side to just 3 rounds with a 173 ADR CT-half. Down 3-9, TheMongolz snatched the second half's pistol and converted the anti-eco, catching up to LYG.
LYG limped their way to match point at 9-12 and AceX got the better of TheMongolz in a 1v2 clutch, closing out Anubis 13-9 and securing their upper-bracket finals spot against Lynn Vision.
