Lynn Vision starts journey to Jönköping with a big win
The ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 Asia Closed Qualifier kicked off with a spot in the main event up for grabs as the four Asian teams were set to battle it out. The upper bracket semi-final saw Mongolia's ATOX take on Lynn Vision.
ATOX's pick of Inferno got the series underway and while the Mongolians showed some promise on their T side, gathering five rounds, a lacklustre CT side from ATOX saw Lynn Vision run away with a 13-6 win.
Lynn Vision started their pick of Anubis with a stellar defensive half at 8-4 with z4kr and Jee starting strong. A Westmelon quad kill saw Lynn Vision secure an easy second half pistol and the Chinese team closed out the map at 13-5 to secure a comfortable 2-0 series win.
ATOX now drops to the Lower Bracket and will face the loser of TheMongolz - LYG game to fight for survival while Lynn Vision moves into the Upper Bracket Final.
