Astralis ease past FaZe

The Group B upper bracket semi-final between Astralis and FaZe saw device take on his former captain in karrigan as both teams were looking to book their playoffs spot.

Astralis' pick of Ancient got things underway and went 5-0 up on their T side with a device 1v3 giving the Danes their fifth. FaZe tied up the score in the opening half but it was all Astralis on their CT side as they Danes brushed aside FaZe to start with a 13-7 win.

The Danes started FaZe's pick of Nuke with another big opening half, going 9-3 up with some inspired individual plays coming in from the Danes. A clinical T side saw Astralis ease to a 12-4 win to wrap up the series 2-0.

The win confirms Astralis' spot in the playoffs while FaZe will play Cloud9 tomorrow in the lower bracket.
