yoom to stand-in for Gods Reign
Gods Reign have confirmed that Genk's yoom for the Skyesports Masters 2024 with the Dutch player set to play in place of reV3nnnn.
The Skyesports Masters 2024 kicked off yesterday with the $350,000 online event boasting of 8 teams. Along with seven teams from the EU region, we have Gods Reign as the Indian representatives after winning the Indian Qualifier. With Skyesports failing to finalise a venue for the initially planned LAN event, the event was moved online.
Skyesports had announced that Gods Reign will be flown to Serbia for the event to make sure they don't face too much of a disadvantage against other EU Team, but Gods Reign have travelled to Amman, Jordan for the event instead of Serbia after Skyesports wasn't able to send them to Serbia.
Gods Reign's reV3nnnn was the only player of the roster who did not travel with the team to Jordan due to passport issues and the team has been looking for substitute options. Dust2 India first reported that Gods Reign were looking at yoom as an option.
reV3nnnn himself announced a couple of days ago that he still might get in the server for Gods Reign from India, should the team not be able to finalise a substitute but he won't be needed now with yoom confirmed.
Gods Reign kicks off their Skyesports Masters 2024 campaign today against Ninjas in Pyjamas and we can say yoom in action tonight.
Dust2 India has also learnt that BluePho3nix will stand in for Ninjas in Pyjamas for the event with the Swedes not having a permanent fifth.
