IESF Asia Esports Championship to take place in China

In a post on X, IESF has announced the IESF Asia Esports Championship 2024, which will take place in Chengdu, China. The event is slated to begin on 6th September and reach a conclusion on 14th September. The tournament will have the best teams from Asia battle it out for a spot in the 16th World Esports Championship.

In the previous edition of the Asia Esports Championship, Team India, featuring clouda, f1redup, SpawN, SKwow, and N1kace, dominated the Asia Pacific Qualifiers with a perfect 4-0 record. However, their momentum faltered in the group stage, where they could only muster a 1-3 record, ultimately missing out on the playoffs.

As Counter-Strike continues to soar in popularity in India in 2023, the spotlight now shifts to see which team will emerge to represent India on the international stage.
