True Rippers announce new coach

Former OpTic India member Lukas "yb" Gröning has been officially announced as True Rippers' new head coach for the Counter-Strike 2 division. The German veteran took OpTic India to a title win at ESL India Premiership: Summer 2018 - Challenger League #3 and a runners up finish at ESL India Premiership: Summer 2018 - Starter Cup #3.

Dust2 India reported speculations of the same in mid April 2024 but upon reaching out to the org to confirm the move, True Rippers refrained from engaging the topic and declined to comment.

He spent the majority of 2021 with an international roster - Asking Questions. With yb, Asking Questions secured three C-tier title wins in the year at Rise of Legion: March 2021, Logitech Esports League India and 5E Arena Open Season 4: Southeast Asia.

In 2022, yb moved to VALORANT where he took over coaching responsibilities at Enigma Gaming leading the team the various title wins including WD Black Cup: Season 3 - King of the Hill, Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup - 2021 and TEC Challenger Series 8.

Ranked as India's 2nd best Team on HLTV, True Rippers come across as a team with little to no shortage of experience featuring the likes of DEFAULTER, Crazy_Gamer, Rossi and Mcg!LLzZz. yb's addition to the team adds more strength to the roster.
