MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 not to use new update

The tournament organisers for the upcoming $100,000 LAN in Mongolia - the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024, have announced that the event will be played on the previous patch and will not include the latest CS2 version released on May 23, 2024.

The organisers stated that playing on the older version will let the players compete on a 'level playing field' and help them avoid 'last minute adjustments.' While the MESA Nomadic Masters 2024 will be using the old version, another upcoming event, the IEM Dallas 2024, will be using the latest update.

The eight-team tournament will kick off from May 28, 2024 with the Grand Finals taking place on June 2, 2024. Amongst the eight teams, there will be four Asian teams, three of which are Mongolian, and four European teams battling it out.
