A lot to think about for the Australians after a disappointing Dallas campaign

FlyQuest sent packing by BIG

Australians go down to the Germans

With their tournament lives on the line, Australian powerhouse FlyQuest took on BIG in the Group B lower bracket game at IEM Dallas 2024.

The German's pick of Ancient kicked off the series as FlyQuest put up a strong defensive fight that netted them five rounds. Once they switched to the T side, it was a sloppy affair from dexter and his boys as BIG wrapped it up quickly at 13-6 to draw first blood in the series.

The Australians finally found their footing on their own pick of Nuke, as they closed out the opening half, on their T-side, with five in a row that saw them end with a two-round lead. FlyQuest were all set to take the map to the third map as they rushed to a 12-5 lead before BIG pulled it all the way back, putting up a clinical T side to take the map to overtime. BIG managed to close it out in overtime at 16-14 as syrsoN powered up with the AWP, dropping 31 kills to secure a 2-0 win for the Germans.

The loss spells the end of FlyQuest's campaign in Dallas while BIG continue to fight on in the Lower Bracket.
