BLEED take down Chinggis Warriors
CYPHER and faven carved the path for BLEED get off to a 6-1 start on the CT-side of Anubis, constantly disrupting Chinggis Warriors' T-side routing and executes. Better late than never, the home team adapted and got the ball rolling to salvage a 5-7 half still in favor of BLEED however.
BLEED came out all guns blazing on their T-side, washing out Chinggis Warriors. With multiple 1vXs going their way, BLEED closed out Anubis 13-5, without dropping a single round on their T-side.
The second map took us to Mirage where Chinggis Warriors got off to a 4-0 start on the CT-side but were unable to capitalize and push the lead further as BLEED strung up rounds towards the end, levelling the half 6-6. A monstrous T-side performance from xerolte fueled the home team's way to match point but on the verge of pushing it into the decider, Chinggis Warriors fumbled.
BLEED took the map into overtime where both teams were on their A-game. Chinggis Warriors looked good to close things out at 17-15 but it was a rinse of repeat of regulation as BLEED strung up 3-rounds in a row to take the game away from Chinggis Warriors 19-17 in the second overtime, wrapping up the series 2-0.
With this win, BLEED sit in the upper-bracket semi-finals waiting to face the winner between ATOX and OG, meanwhile Chinggis Warriors have their backs against elimination in the lower-bracket.
