Carnival Gaming holds on against Marcos Gaming

On the first day of the Playoffs of the Skyesports showdown, Marcos Gaming went up against Carnival Gaming. The action began on Inferno, where Marcos established an early lead of 8-3 coming into their CT side. While Carnival narrowed their lead to 8-7, the momentum shifted once again as Marcos Gaming reached match point at 12-7.

However, with Ember doing the heavy lifting for his team, Carnival Gaming clawed their way back to snatch a 16-14 victory from the brink of defeat. Next up was Mirage which continued with the neck-to-neck affair as both teams tied the score at 6-6. While Marcos steered ahead transitioning to the T-side, it was Carnival to find a comeback once again, as they tied the game in regulation.

The matchup entered a struggle where neither team was willing to give up. While it was Gh0sTTTT holding his own with the AWP for Marcos, SpawN led the charge for Carnival. However, after 3 rounds of Overtime, it was Carnival Gaming to seal the deal with a 19-16 win.
