SpawN: "We are not afraid of any team in the Circuit"

SpawN shares his emotions after winning his second CS2 title

Carnival Gaming stormed into the Counter-Strike arena a mere two months ago, igniting the competitive scene with their arrival. Despite this short tenure, Carnival's mastermind, pieced together a formidable team from scratch. Led by SpawN, the individuals outmatched True Rippers in the Grand Final, securing a 2-1 win and cash prize of INR 70,000.

In the wake of their spectacular triumph and his second CS2 title, we seized the opportunity to engage in a conversation with SpawN, as he graciously shared his emotions regarding the team's triumph and delved into the personal odyssey as an IGL that propelled his team to victory.

How does it feel to win your second tournament in CS2 with this fresh lineup?

It feels good after losing 2 major tournaments, I am super proud of the boys but I am not satisfied yet because we can play a lot better CS as a team, it's just a matter of time.

In such an unstable scene, how are you able to make a team work with new yet limited options?

It's not about the options I have, it's all about the players I want to play with and what matters the most is that, I am ok if I lose with them, but next time we must work harder and try to play better CS as a team. That's what I want with the players I play with and my teammates - to believe in the process - that's the mentality I want in the team.

When people take a look at Indian CS, they look at Gods Reign, they look at True Rippers. How does it feel to defeat one such team and make a name for yourself?

Am I defeating them for the 1st time? It's just that I haven't been lucky enough to stick with the players or orgs in past. We as a team are not afraid of any team in the circuit and I am super confident with more amount of team practice we will be (even) better!
