Revenant fall to Johnny Speeds again
Revenant were out for not only their first CS2 tournament win, when they faced Johnny Speeds in the Grand Final of the European Pro League 2nd Division Season 13 but also were looking to set the score straight with the Swedes, after suffering a big loss in the upper bracket final earlier in the tournament.
adeX powered Revenant to a 9-3 lead on Ancient to kick off the series and a flawless CT half saw the Indian organisation start with one-sided 12-3 win. Mirage saw Revenant turn around a 0-4 deficit to start with a two-round lead on their defensive side before Johnny Speeds took the game to overtime and held on for a 16-14 win.
The decider on Anubis saw the Swedes start with an eight-round T half before closing it out at 13-7. The 2-1 series win sees Johnny Speeds win the European Pro League 2nd Division Season 13 and take home a prize money of $5,000 while Revenant's second place finish nets them a prize money of $3,000.
