Skyesports Championship 2024 India Closed Qualifier: Everything you need to know
The Skyesports Championship 2024 India Closed Qualifier get underway today with four teams battling it out for a spot in the Skyesports Championship 2024 LAN event in Mumbai.
The four remaining teams are Gods Reign, Carnival Gaming, True Rippers, and Marcos Gaming. These teams will now advance to the double elimination brackets. The double elimination bracket will take place between 27th June to 29th June, kicking off with the following matchups:
Marcos Gaming vs Carnival Gaming
The first game in the Upper Bracket sees Marcos Gaming take on Carnival Gaming, with the latter fresh off their triumph at the Gladiator's League Season 4.
With the addition of CycloneF, Carnival Gaming have been proper contenders and SpawN has an experienced and talented roster to work with, one which is able to fight not just for the occasional win but titles. On the other hand, Marcos Gaming have also been on an upwards trend. Following their return to Counter-Strike, they have been putting up impressive results regularly. While they don't have a title under the belt yet, this is Marcos Gaming's best chance to show the world that they are here to play.

Gods Reign vs True Rippers
The second game of the day will be the big ticket clash between two of India's best teams as Gods Reign face True Rippers. Gods Reign head into the Closed Qualifiers as the favourites with most expecting Bhavi and his boys to make it to the main LAN event in Mumbai. If there is one team they would be wary of, it would have to be True Rippers.
True Rippers have time and again proved why they are such a dangerous team, making strong, deep runs but if there is one thing that plagues DEFAULTER's squad it is that of closing out tournaments. True Rippers have been faltering at the final step and they would want to turn that around and make it all the way to the main event and there would be no better start to that run than taking down their neighbours!
