Revenant reverse sweeps kONO to stay afloat
The Lower Bracket Final at the United21 League Season 17 saw Revenant continue their lower bracket run as they took on kONO.
The series started on the Ukrainian team's pick of Dust2 where an 8-4 T side from them saw kONO ease to a 13-7 win. Revenant seemed all set to take the match to a third map after a nine-round T side on Anubis but kONO fought back to take the map to overtime. Revenant hung on in second overtime for a 19-16 win which pushed the series to Mirage. adeX's AWP was the crucial factor for Revenant on Anubis with the Romanian dropping 30 kills.
Nivera and adeX's double AWP CT set-up helped Revenant start Mirage with an 9-3 lead and it was Nivera's AWP the helping Revenant get across the line as NBK- and co. locked in a comfortable 13-6 win.
The 2-1 series win now puts Revenant in the Consolidation final where they will face the loser of the Johnny Speeds vs lajtbitexe match.
