CatEvil eliminate Steel Helmet
In group A's elimination match at the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 - BLAST Premier Qualifier, Steel Helmet took on CatEvil in a bo1 on Dust2. Starting on the T-side, CatEvil won the pistol round but Steel Helmet stole anti-eco off the back of which they built themselves a solid 7-2 lead.
A 4k AWP sequence from CatEvil's Ian powered CatEvil back into the game but were still at a 5-7 disadvantage. CatEvil rode with the momentum, looking sharp on the CT-side as they strung up 6 rounds in a row, essentially taking the game away from Steel Helmet.
AE's triple entry sequence fetched Steel Helmet their much needed first T-side round off of which they converted a couple of follow-up but fell at the last step as CatEvil swung across the line 13-11, with Ian topping the charts at 23 frags and 105 ADR.
With this loss, Steel Helmet end their 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 - BLAST Premier Qualifier campaign without a single map win to their name as CatEvil live to fight another day but an uphill climb lies ahead of them as they square up against The MongolZ in their next game.
