BnTeT frags out against GR
A massive 4k from Freeman in the pistol round set the tone for Alter Ego's T-half in their elimination match against GR on Mirage. After going 7-1 initially, Alter Ego's economy took a hit in 9th round, giving GR a flurry of round wins as the Russians salvage a 4-8 half still hugely in favor of Alter Ego however.
GR came out all guns blazing on the T-side, closing the gap straight out the gate to level the score at 8-8. BnTeT's clinical A-site hold, nearly acing the round with 4 frags gave Alter Ego their first round on the CT-side. There was very little to separate both sides as they went neck to neck, tying things up at 12-12 and pushing the game into overtime.
The trio of BnTeT, Freeman and splashske held the fort down for Alter Ego, fragging out in overtime. GR nearly pushed the game into a second overtime closing in on Alter Ego's 3-round buffer but a couple of brute force entries into A-site saw Alter Ego close out Mirage 16-14, ending GR's 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 - BLAST Premier Qualifier run in the league stage.
