ECL Season 48 teams locked in
Season 48 of the ESL Challenger League is all set to commence in a couple days and through a post on X, ESL have confirmed the participants for the Asian circuit. With 9 wins under their belt in Season 47, Gods Reign have locked in their ESL Challenger League Season 48 slot and will open things up against TYLOO in the second week.
Season 47 ended with Lynn Vision emerging victorious against ATOX in a lengthy and hard fought bo5. Three Mongolian teams have scraped through Season 47's relegation, booking their ECL Season 48 slots. The MongolZ will skip this iteration of the ECL considering their jam-packed July attending the inaugural edition of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh and Skyesports Championship in India.
The ESL Challenger League beings with it's usual double-robin league stage and the top 10 teams proceed to the double-elimination bo3 playoffs with the top 2 teams advancing directly to the upper-bracket semi-finals. The winner and runner-up bags a coveted ESL Pro League invite.
