TYLOO struggle past CatEvil
The second semi-final of the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 BLAST Premier Qualifier saw TYLOO going up against the dark horses in CatEvil.
CatEvil's pick of Ancient was the series opener with the Chinese team starting with a 8-4 half. CatEvil picked up a much needed pistol in the second half and quickly tied up the score. After losing 10 rounds in a row, an A hit from TYLOO finally got them on the board. JamYoung kept TYLOO alive but it was CatEvil who pipped the Chinese team 13-11. Nuke was Jee and his AWP keeping TYLOO in the game and a 31 kill performance saw TYLOO pick up a crucial 13-10 win.
The series decider on Anubis saw TYLOO start strong and it looked like they would ease to a comfortable win before CatEvil fought back late in their T side. Mercury with 25 kills made sure TYLOO locked in a 13-11 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.
TYLOO will face Rare Atom later today in the Grand Final with the winner set to book their place at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024.
