3DMAX bounce back to lock in an overtime win
3DMAX, who qualified through the Skyesports Championship 2024 European Qualifiers got their campaign in India underway against AMKAL.
After a brief technical delay, the action kicked off on Nuke with the Russian team starting with a near-flawless pistol on their defensive side. A back and forth half saw neither team able to gain momentum that led to the Russian team taking a two-round lead before switching to their T side. Sdaim's quad kill in the second half pistol helped AMKAL turn around a 3v5 to further extend their lead before Djoko's triple with the Five-seven saw 3DMAX answer right back on the force.
The force buy win helped 3DMAX tie up the score but AMKAL took the lead once again as they got a full-buy in thanks to a TRAVIS double opener. 3DMAX held on against three-map points to push the match to overtime. 3DMAX held on in overtime to close it out at 16-14 with Ex3rcice topping the scoreboard with 26 kills.
AMKAL will take on Revenant later on today in the second round of games for both teams while 3DMAX will return to the server tomorrow.
