nexa 'I think we are a bit short on voices'

BLEED's latest signing talks about Skyesports Championship 2024

BLEED bowed out of the Skyesports Championship 2024 in the group stages, finishing fourth in Group A, failing to make the Playoffs due to round difference. They ended their campaign in India with a win over PARIVISION and BLEED's latest signing, former G2 player nexa had a quick chat with Dust2 India, discussing the team's performance at the event and how the team is settling in with him joining.

A long BO1 to close out. How does it feel to get a win?

Thinks it's aways nice to close out with the win even though we knew we had no chance to go to the playoffs. I think it's nice that we pick ourselves up after a loss to Aurora.

You have hampus as the IGL, then you also have jkaem who I take to be another loud voice on the team. Does it get hard to manage so many voices?

No not really. In fact I think we are a bit short on voices. I think it will be, from now on, kind of my job to step up in that aspect and give like more, directions and help mid round. Both on CT and T, because that is something we struggle in.

How does it feel to be back with kassad?

I mean it's nice, I have known him for a very long time and he is the guy who helped me jumpstart my career and I will always be grateful for that. It was a no-brainer when he offered me to come to the team, it was an instant yes for me.

Any goals for the upcoming three months?

I think the obvious goal is to qualify for the RMR and to make it to the Major. That is the only thing I am looking at.

Will we ever see you back as the IGL?

Yes it's definitely on the cards. Right now I am exploring this other side of my career, and we will see how it goes. I am definitely open to go back.

How is hampus leading the team?

I think he is really good, I think he is doing a really good job. He knows what he wants and he is good at explaining and giving directions at the start of the round. I think he is also like a very useful player to have on the team. He knows how to play the positions and the roles he has. Overall he is doing a good job.

How different is he from you, when you were the IGL?

The main difference I could notice is, I am much more into details, and micro-adjustments. For him it's like more free. People get to decide on the fly and try to create the rounds with good communications.
