Skyesports Championship 2024 Playoffs: Everything you need to know

Taking a look at the six playoffs bound team

With ENCE hammering True Rippers, gla1ve and co. were the sixth and final team to lock in their spot in the Playoffs of Skyesports Championship 2024. Three teams from both groups have moved ahead to the Playoffs, with the group toppers directly moving into the semi-finals while the other four teams will battle it out in the two quarter-finals.

Group A was the most competitive group out of the two with two out of the three playoff participants being decided on the final day of the group stages, that also due to round difference because of multiple teams ending on same points. The MongolZ, ENCE, BLEED and PARIVISION were all in contention until the last day and it was only after ENCE's win against home team True Rippers. that the playoff teams were confirmed. Aurora topped Group A to book a semi-final spot while The MongolZ and ENCE will be moving to the quarter-finals.

Group B meanwhile had Eternal Fire and 3DMAX lock in their Playoffs spot on the second day of action itself, going unbeaten while AMKAL's win against compatriots PARIVISION saw them lock in the final Playoffs spot. While Eternal Fire ended the group stages as the only unbeaten, it meant that the Turkish team directly move into the semi-finals while 3DMAX and AMKAL will battle it out in the quarter-finals.

The first quarter-final will see The MongolZ taking on AMKAL while ENCE will face 3DMAX in their quarter-final. The winner of the first quarter-final will take on Eternal Fire in the first semi-final while Aurora will take on the winner of the 3DMAX and ENCE match in the other semi-final.

The playoffs kick off from July 27, 2024 when the two quarter-finals will take place and the tournament will move to a BO3 format, switching from the BO1 format which was followed in the Group Stages.
