TYLOO reverse-sweep CatEvil
CatEvil started on the T-side of Ancient and a couple of crisp glock headshots from tanxiaomei opened up the A-site for CatEvil, securing the pistol and converting the anti-eco. Poor mid-rounds and over-rotations costed TYLOO a string of rounds, giving away a 7-5 advantage to CatEvil at the end of the first half.
Dropping just a couple of rounds in the second half, CatEvil sprinted to match point at 12-8 with a four-rounds buffer. Consistent multi-frag rounds from Mercury, Jee and Moseyuh kept TYLOO in the game but CatEvil eventually closed out Ancient 13-10, going 1-0 up in the series.
TYLOO redeemed themselves on Nuke with a dominant 9-3 T-side performance to kick things off. JamYoung and Mercury went off the rails delivering ratings of 2.10 and 1.56 with 24 and 14 frags respectively. Netting a big 13-4 win level the series 1-1.
On the decider Mirage, TYLOO started on the T-side. zhokiNg and Mercury stepped up, tearing through the CT-defense. 10 rounds in, CatEvil opened their account at 1-10. After a 2-10 half, CatEvil put 5-rounds in a row in a comeback attempt but it was too little and too late as TYLOO wrapped up the map 13-7 and the series 2-1, sending CatEvil down to the lower bracket in the IEM Rio Asia Closed Qualifier.
