BIG take down FlyQuest
A Tabsen-3k opened up the B-site, giving BIG the pistol round on the T-side of Ancient and eventually the anti-eco conversion. FlyQuest won the initial buy rounds but could never really get a grip on their CT-side as BIG steam steam-rolled their way to a 9-3 advantage with a 1.79 rating T-side performance from rigoN at an ADR of 120.
FlyQuest found their way back on their T-side as the Aussies closed the gap straight away with 6 consecutive T-side rounds to start the second half, after which a series of back and forth trades pushed the game into overtime. FlyQuest edged out BIG in overtime with a 16-14 win. A 1.55 HLTV rating performance from INS saw him drop 34 frags at an ADR of 106.
FlyQuest started on the T-side of Inferno with a pistol round win but a hero-M4 on BIG's second round caught them off guard, netting BIG the anti-eco, disrupting FlyQuest's economy. The Aussies returned the favor with Vexite and dexter running down the CTs with Tec9s, off the back of which they put up a 4-1 lead. BIG recovered and traded round for round to end an even 6-6 half. The game went neck to neck but BIG squeezed out a narrow 13-10 win to level the series at 1-1.
The decider, Vertigo was a T-side masterclass from both side. Starting on the T-side BIG secured a massive 10-2 half in their favor but FlyQuest showed resilience with the trio of INS, dexter and aliStair stepping up. The Aussies caught up and levelled the score at 11-11. Eventually, BIG closed out Vertigo 13-11 to secure a 2-1 series at the IEM Cologne play-in.
