Rare Atom, CatEvil move into China RMR Closed Qualifier upper bracket semi-finals
The final two games of the opening round at the China RMR Closed Qualifier saw CatEvil and Rare Atom pick up crucial wins to move into the upper bracket semi-finals while XNL and SHPL will be battling it out for tournament survival later on today.
Rare Atom started their journey towards the Asia RMR against XNL in the upper bracket quarter-final with the BO1 taking place on Dust2. somebody led the charge for Rare Atom, as they started a strong eight-round T side, which helped them pick up a 13-6 win.

The fourth and final upper bracket quarter-final, which was the final game of the opening round, saw CatEvil take on SHPL on Nuke. CatEvil's T side got things going, as they held a small two-round lead before SHPL fought back on their T side. Overtime looked likely but a double Roninbaby opener in the final round of regulation saw CatEvil take a 13-11 win.
