TYLOO, Teamwork start China RMR Closed Qualifier with wins
The opening two games at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 China RMR Closed Qualifier saw TYLOO pick up a commanding win over Steel Helmet while Teamwork pipped Bromo in a nail-biter as they moved to the upper bracket semi-finals and one step closed to the Asia RMR.
TYLOO got the China RMR CLosed Qualifier under with their upper bracket quarter-final against Steel Helmet. The BO1 took place on Mirage with TYLOO's defence going almost flawless to put up an 11-1 half. The second half pistol helped them lock in a dominating 13-1 win with Jee and Mercury topping the scoreboards with 19 kills each.

The second opening round game saw Teamwork go up against Bromo on Ancient in a close encounter. Following a back-and-forth opening half which saw the scores remain tied, it was Teamwork who edged ahead right in the final two rounds of regulation to pick up an important 13-11 win.

With two of the opening round of games done, the other two quarter-finals will take place at 13:00 IST today between CatEvil and SHPL and Rare Atom and XNL. TYLOO and Teamwork meanwhile have moved into the upper bracket semi-final and their BO1 encounter will be held post the completion of the remaining games of the opening round. Steel Helmet and Bromo both drop to the lower bracket after their loss and will battle it out for survive later on today as well in a BO3 encounter.
