TALON drop down to the lower bracket
The newly formed TALON were in the middle of solid qualifier run when they met Rooster in the upper-bracket final of the Oceanic Closed Qualifier for the RMR leading up to the Perfect World Shanghai 2024 Major.
The bo1 took us to Anubis where Rooster started on the T-side with pistol and anti-eco losses but recovered quickly once the gun-rounds began. TALON managed to disrupt Rooster's round streaks but latter still managed to scrape through with a slight lead at 7-5.
Going into the CT-side, The trio of asap, chelleos and TjP turned the game on it's head for Rooster with CT-side ratings of 2.62, 1.75 and 1.72. All three put up ADRs in excess of 100 as Rooster strung up six rounds in a row to close out Anubis 13-5.
With this win, Rooster sit in the grand-final of the Oceanic Closed Qualifier, just a single win away from making it to the Asia-Pacific RMR whereas TALON continue their run in the lower-bracket from where they look to set up their rematch against Rooster in the grand-final.
