The MongolZ start strong in Finland
The MongolZ faced allu's JANO in their Group A opener at the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 with the BO1 action kicking off on Inferno.
Starting on the defensive half, The MongolZ had Techno 1v2 allu and juho but ran out of time for the defuse, which saw JANO start with the opening pistol. JANO started with a 3-0 lead, converting against the force buy and eco before Senzu's triple in Banana saw The MongolZ get their CT half going. The MongolZ ended their defensive half with a two-round lead and the T-sided pistol helped them run away to a 13-7 win with their captain bLitz leading from the front with 18 kills to top the server.
The MongolZ will be back in action later on today for the Group A winners' game, which will be a BO3 encounter where they will take on either Ninjas in Pyjamas or B8.
