Clutch eliminate The QUBE
Taking on The QUBE in the lower-bracket final at the MESA Pro Series Fall 2024 Finals, Clutch started on the CT-side of Nuke and found their footing right away. A double-entry sequence from Kamui got The QUBE on board at 1-3 but they managed to get the C4 down just once in the entire half as Clutch swept a 9-3 CT-side in their favor.
The second half saw The QUBE put up three rounds in a row in a comeback attempt but once the gun rounds began Clutch found their rhythm again and closed out Nuke 13-6 to go 1-0 up in the series. clouden topped the charts with 20 frags to his name at an ADR of 105.
The second map took us to Ancient where Clutch started on T-side. The QUBE this time put up a stronger fight, splitting the half 6-6. The QUBE's T-side troubles continued as they managed to secure just two rounds in the second half. The trio of Tsogoo, hasteka and clouden stopped The QUBE's T-side in their tracks to close out Ancient 13-8.
Wrapping up the series 2-0, Clutch have booked their consolidation final slot where they face either IHC or ATOX.
