The MongolZ take down B8 to continue strong run in Finland
After taking down home team JANO in their opening game at the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, The MongolZ faced B8 in the Group A winners' game with the Asian squad putting in another strong showing.
The series kicked off on B8's pick of Nuke and it was a solid team performance which saw them start with a six-round lead on their CT half before a flawless T side saw them sail to a 13-3 win.
Inferno saw a scrappy start from both teams which led to The MongolZ taking a two-round lead on their T side, managing to put together two rounds right at the end of the opening half, with Techno and Senzu having late impact. B8 showed a bit of resistance on their T side after The MongolZ locked in the second half pistol but a shut down on the A site from 910 and bLitz saw The MongolZ win 13-8 to take the series 2-0.
The win sees The MongolZ lock in a Playoffs spot and remain on top of the Group A table and now will play next in the arena.
