True Rippers book LAN Playoffs spot

It was another strong performance from the new roster of True Rippers as they dropped Carnival Gaming to the lower bracket after a 2-0 win the upper bracket game at the AMD GameOn 2024 CS2 event.

The series kicked off with a lop-sided map on Carnival Gaming's pick of Dust2, as True Rippers' defence took the early lead, going 5-0 up to take a six round lead at the half before a strong T side saw them wrap up the opening map at 13-5.

Anubis saw Carnival Gaming put up a fight initially as they secure five T rounds to kick off True Rippers' map pick but it was a clinical T side from True Rippers, taking the map win at 13-7 to lock in the series 2-0 with clouda having a strong map, dropping 25 kills.

The win also puts True Rippers straight into the AMD GameOn 2024 LAN Playoffs, which will take place in Hyderabad between November 16 - 17, 2024. Carnival Gaming drops to the Lower Bracket and will fight for elimination as they look to keep their LAN hopes alive.
