Dominating Gods Reign decimate VICTORES SUMUS

The Upper Bracket game at the Closed Qualifier at the AMD GameOn 2024 saw Gods Reign demolish VICTORES SUMUS in the Group B encounter.

The series kicked off on VICTORES SUMUS' pick of Inferno which saw Gods Reign start in style, going 9-0 up as R2B2, Bhavi and Rossi powered Gods Reign to a strong start. A Banana shut down finally got VICTORES SUMUS on the board but one round was all the could manage as Gods Reign closed it out at 13-1 with their new member Rossi topping the scoreboard with 18 kills and an ADR of 130.

Ph1NNN kicked things on VICTORES SUMUS' pick of Dust2 with a 1v2 to make sure Gods' pistol win-rate remained flawless in the series. It was another strong T side from Gods Reign, to which VICTORES SUMUS had no answer as Gods Reign secured a 9-1 lead, locking in the ninth thanks to a f1redup 1v2 at Cat Walk and it was another 11-1 half for Gods Reign. VICTORE SUMUS picked up their first pistol win of the series as Recoilmaster's triple on the P250 and managed to string three rounds together before Gods Reign hit map point and f1redup's AWP shut things down as Gods Reign locked in Dust2 at 13-4 to take the series 2-0.

The win puts Gods Reign directly into the AMD GameOn 2024 LAN Playoffs in Hyderabad, taking place between November 16 - 17, 2024. VICTORES SUMUS meanwhile drop to the Lower Bracket and are one BO3 loss away from elimination.
