Rare Atom qualify for home Major
After The MongolZ became the first team to book their spot in the Perfect World Shanghai Major, it was Rare Atom qualifying for their home Major as they took down TALON in the Shanghai Major Asia RMR upper bracket semi-final.
The series kicked off on TALON's pick of Vertigo and it was Rare Atom's defense taking a two-round lead before a strong T side saw them close the opening map 13-8. Inferno started in the same manner saw it was Rare Atom's T side this time with the early lead and It was ChildKing leading a stellar defensive hold which saw Rare Atom close the series at 13-8 to take the series 2-0.
While Rare Atom have become the second team to book themselves a spot in the Shanghai Major 2024, TALON's loss drops them to the lower bracket and they will face Lynn Vision tomorrow to keep their Major hopes alive.
