No s1mple at Asia's first Counter-Strike Major

s1mple's heroics not enough on Mirage

s1mple will be missing out on Asia's first Counter-Strike Major as Falcons were eliminated from the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A by GamerLegion, signaling a new low for the team.

GamerLegion got things going with their Vertigo pick which saw some fight from Falcons on their CT half but it was a uninspired T side which saw sl3nd and Tauson lead GamerLegion to a 13-6 win. Falcons hit back on Nuke as Magisk made sure Falcons weren't done in two as a strong T side helped close it out at 13-7 to keep the series alive.

On Mirage, Falcons were in the game only because of s1mple and his heroics as GamerLegion made sure to not let s1mple carry Falcons through as they went on to take a 13-7 win to take the series 2-1, keep themselves alive in Shanghai and send Falcons home.

For Falcons, the decorated team's wait for their first Major appearance goes on as they head home with a 1-3 record from Shanghai. For s1mple, the final CS:GO Major, the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 remains the last Major he has attended till date.
