The MongolZ withdraw from eXTREMESLAND 2024

Through a post on X, eXTREMESLAND have announced that one of Asia's strongest teams in the Counter-Strike scene have voluntarily withdrawn their slot from the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2024. The MongolZ alongside ATOX and IHC were set to represent Mongolia at the LAN where the latter two earned their slots from the Mongolian qualifier.

Scheduled to take place in mid-January 2025, the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2024 will not see The MongolZ in action due to "scheduling conflicts", says the the organizer through their post on X. The vacant slot however, will go to a Mongolian team through a wildcard tournament which is set to be organized by MESA who is currently running their own CS2 circuit- the MESA Asia Series.

The mentioned reason could well suggest that The MongolZ might be a part of the BLAST Bounty Season 1 which as of now is set to be a single-elimination bo3 tournament featuring 32 teams based on Valve Regional Standings out of which four of them enter through direct invites.
