The Huns eliminate GR

Battling for survival at the Group B lower bracket final at the MESA Asia Series #2, it was Mongolia's The Huns sending the winners of the MESA Asia Series #1, GR, packing as they beat the Russian squad to stay alive in the tournament.

Mirage kicked off with back-to-back A hits from GR before a brawl at A main in the third round with only pistols from The Huns saw them get on the board. It was Bart4k and nin9's AWP that got The Huns back into the game as they went on to take a four-round lead at the end of the opening half. Bart4k's double in the second pistol round saw The Huns increase their lead and the Mongolian side ran away with a 13-5 win to keep themselves alive in the event.

The Huns move into the quarter-finals following their win over GR while the Russian team, who won the MESA Asia Series #1, are eliminated.
