Big W picks up the Rivalry Rush: Final Assault title
Big W picked up the final title of the Indian Counter-Strike year as they won Bharat Ascend Esports' Rivalry Rush: Final Assault, taking down Badmash in the Grand Final with a score line of 2-1. Badmash had the veteran EmbeR standing in for them for the Grand Final but it was Big W's experienced star n1kace, who had a stand-out performance in the Grand Final on the other side, taking his team to the title.
The opening map was Ancient, Badmash's pick, which was a completely lopsided affair as Big W started with nine consecutive rounds on their defense to ease to a massive 13-3 win with CycloneF and n1kace topping the scoreboard with 19 and 18 kills respectively.
Big W's pick of Anubis saw the tables turn as it was Badmash starting strong this time, running away on their T side with a 10-2 start and closed it out at 13-4 to tie up the series and keep themselves alive in the Grand Final. It was EmbeR and Hspl leading the charge for Badmash on Anubis, dropping 18 and 17 kills respectively.
The decider on Mirage saw Badmash start competitively before Big W's defence took over and managed to take a four round lead at the half. Badmash tried to fight back but Big W's T side held on to close out the map and match with a 13-6 win on Mirage to take the Grand Final 13-6. It was n1kace with the impact on Mirage, dropping 24 frags in the Grand Final decider which saw Big W lock in the title while SeeK's AWP had major impact as well on the decider.
The title win for Big W sees them take home a prize money of INR 7,000 while Badmash pockets INR 3,000.
