The opening map was a blowout as Big W started their opponent's pick of Nuke with a massive 10-round defensive half. After starting with the opening pistol and following conversions, 4Evercool got on the board in the fourth round but they could manage just one more T round as they had no answer to Big W's defensive setup. Big W kept it clean on their T side, closing out with ease at 13-2 as Br0ck closed things out with a knife on Sk.
Big W's pick of Ancient saw fight from 4Evercool as they started strong on their defensive half before a couple of late rounds from Big W saw tie up the half at 6-6. 4Evercool wasn't going down without a fight, as they kept the rounds coming and went on to tie up the score at 10-10 before a late A spilt saw them take the lead to go two away from the decider. 4Evercool survived a big scare against an upgraded pistol and MP9 buy to hit map point and the decider was locked in as 4Evercool picked up Ancient at 13-11.
4Evercool started the decider on Dust2 with the T-sided pistol. Big W's defence got going as soon as they brought out the guns as SeeK's AWP took control of the map. Big W went on to take a six-round lead at the half and even though 5m0ke picked up a crucial clutch to start 4Evercool's CT side, it was Big W closing things out with ease at 13-4 as N1kace stepped with the AWP to close out the match in a man disadvantage situation for Big W. The Dust2 win saw Big W take the semi-final 2-1.
Big W will face Badmash in the Grand Final of Rivalry Rush: Final Assault which will take place on December 22, 2024.
