Counter Strike: Source receives an update in 2025

The game still has 14,000 active players

Everyone's childhood favourite Counter Strike: Source, that was released in 2004 has received an update from Valve now, after 21 years of its release.

The game has been ported to the 64-bit version of the Source engine, allowing it to use more than 4GB of RAM, Valve has revisited a number of titles still using the original Source engine, and updated it to improve stability and performance.

Counter Strike: Source now also supports borderless windowed mode and UI scaling for better experience on high-resolution and multi-monitor setups. The game still has about 14,000 active players, and this update is bound to come as a pleasant surprise to them.
