PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 Playoffs: Preview
MOUZ's 2-1 over Virtus.pro marked the end of the Swiss System bo3 group stage of the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and all eight teams are now locked in for the playoffs. The playoffs will run a single-elimination bo3 bracket, concluding with a bo5 grand-final.
Asian representatives, The MongolZ have once again showed their dominance, clearing the group stage with a clean 3-0 record. The Mongolians dropped just a single map in the process which came in their qualification game against paIN. The MongolZ trounced Complexity, Wildcard and paIN to book their playoffs slot.

The MongolZ will take stage after paIN and MOUZ's first quarter final game, squaring up with Astralis. The game begins at 4:30 PM IST on Friday, 21st February 2025. Alongside The MongolZ, FaZe too made their way into the playoffs with a 3-0 in the group stage, taking down SAW, Eternal Fire and MOUZ.
Falcons, paIN and MOUZ after winning their opening games, fumbled one along the way but kept their damages to a minimum, qualifying from the 3-1 pool. MOUZ, Astralis and SAW on the other hand were pushed to the limits and scraped through with their backs against elimination.
