ESL introduces new revenue sharing plan for orgs

ESL allocates over $11M USD towards clubs and players for 2025 & 2026

ESL has revealed details of its new revenue sharing program for Counter-Strike 2 teams, committing over $11 million annually for 2025 and 2026. Teams can now opt into what ESL calls the "CS2 Ecosystem Agreement," which outlines the commitments and obligations involved in participating in the company's revenue and profit sharing model.

The agreement is non-exclusive, meaning any team can opt in by signing and submitting the document to ESL.

The $11 million USD yearly allocation is split into three main parts. The largest portion, $7.5 million USD, will be distributed across ESL's seven events in 2025. This includes $3.7 million USD in traditional prize money and $3.8 million USD in Club Rewards, which all participating teams can receive.

Teams that sign the Ecosystem Agreement will also be eligible for the Annual Club Incentive, worth $2.95 million in 2025. This end-of-year payout comes from ESL sharing 10% of its revenue and 25% of its profits from its tier-1 events. The Intel Grand Slam race is still on where teams can win $1M USD by winning three EPT Masters events and one Championship event like Katowice, Cologne, etc.
