ESL reveals their 2025 circuit
The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) have revealed their plans for their ESL 2025 Pro Tour, as they have five IEM tournaments and two ESL Pro Leagues lined up for what promises to be a jam-packed year filled with Counter-Strike action.
While the usual suspects of IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne return, there will also be events in Dallas and Chengdu with a Spring event scheduled for but the location is yet to be revealed.
Championship-level events
IEM Katowice 2025 - January 29-February 9
IEM Cologne 2025 - July 23-August 3
Masters-level events
ESL Pro League Season 21 - February 25-March 16
IEM Spring - April 21-27
IEM Dallas 2025 - May 19-25
ESL Pro League Season 22 - September 23-October 12
IEM Chengdu 2025 - November 3-9
Katowice will kick off their calendar, being scheduled for January 29 - February 9, 2025 with ESL Pro League Season 21 being the next even, set to be held from February 25 - March 16, 2025. IEM Spring will be the second Masters-level event, which is scheduled to be held between April 21 - 27, 2025 with the location yet to be revealed.
IEM Dallas, which saw Stewie2K lift silverware once again earlier this year, will return with the United States event set to take place between May 19 - May 25, 2025. Post Dallas, the next event in the ESL calendar is the second Championship-level event, which will he IEM Cologne, taking place between July 23 - August 3, 2025 before the second season of ESL Pro League (Season 22) returns in September 23 - October 12, 2025. The ESL 2025 circuit will close out for the year with the only confirmed Asian event, which is IEM Chengdu, which is set to be held between November 3 - November 9, 2025.
EFG have announced a financial pledge of over $22 million for the next two years 'towards teams and players participating in the circuit throughout both 2025 and 2026.' There will also be qualifiers for the ESL Pro League seasons and IEM Dallas while the Valve Regional Standings will confirm the participants for IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, IEM Spring and IEM Chengdu. Pro League will also see a reduction in the number of teams, with 24 teams set to take part instead of the previous 32.
