FACEIT Mapcore 2025 finalists announced

FMPONE, TopHattWaffle and Helder Pinto serve as core judges

One of the biggest Counter-Strike map making competitions, FACEIT Mapcore has announced it's finalists for the 2025 edition. The maps advancing to the Grand Finale are Alpine, Canopy, Flick, Golden, Grail, Jura, Palacio, Stronghold, Warden, and Wild. These maps emerged from months of community testing and judge evaluations on the FACEIT hubs.

The finalists now have eight weeks until April 20 to make their final adjustments based on community feedback. The maps will compete for a $15,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home $7,500.

FMPONE, TopHattWaffle and Helder Pinto are the Mapcore Judges for this edition with Anders, DDK, fl0m, James Bardolph, Launders and Scrawny on the sidelines as guest experts. The panel will evaluate each map on four key criteria: gameplay, originality, visual presentation, and overall polish. Each category carries equal weight in the final scoring.

The winning maps will be announced on May 4, 2025, and will be featured in special Mapcore FACEIT tournaments. The top four maps will also receive exclusive Valve merchandise alongside their cash prizes. Players can try these finalist maps on FACEIT hubs during the final stage of the competition.
