GuardiaN has played in three Major finals

GuardiaN says goodbye to Counter-Strike

GuardiaN's Counter-Strike career nearly spanned for 2 decades

One of Counter-Strike's most iconic AWPers, GuardiaN has called it a day on his decorated Counter-Strike career. GuardiaN's initial appearances in the professional scene dates all the way back to the summer of 2006, where he secured top three finishes in a couple of Counter-Strike 1.6 LAN events.

GuardiaN's game really took off once he switched to Counter-Strike Source and joined Reason Gaming in 2009. The team went on to win three A-tier LANs that year. As for most, his transition to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012 wasn't smooth. Towards the end of 2013, GuardiaN was picked up by NAVI and there was no looking back.

I'm not sad, I've done everything I could in esports. I've been to Majors, I've been to Major finals, I've won tournaments, I had amazing teams. I've done it all. I don't have a Major trophy, but that's not all it takes to be happy.

After his run with NAVI where won several tier-1 events and earned MVP accolades along way, the stellar Slovakian AWP was picked up by FaZe where he further expanded his trophy cabinet. GuardiaN crafted unforgettable plays and will likely be remembered as one of the most deserving players to never win a Major. His last known win came at the United21 Season 23, a C-tier online event in December 2024.

GuardiaN made six consecutives entries in HLTV's top 10 from 2013 to 2018. He fell short of first place by a narrow margin in 2014, coming at #2. GuardiaN's 1.14 rating throughout the year and an insane +222 KD difference in opening duels made him the second best player of 2014.

With six top ten entries, eight MVPs, thirteen EVPs including a Major EVP at the ELEAGUE Major 2018 and seventeen notable trophies to his name, GuardiaN has stepped back from professional Counter-Strike.
